Bexley Wellbeing Partnership hosted a very special event at the Civic Offices on 15th August to mark South Asian Heritage Month.

The South Asian Health and Wellbeing Fair was organised to celebrate South Asian culture and to also inform residents of health and wellbeing services that exist to support residents. We have been working alongside community groups and relevant organisations to ensure we better understand the needs of South Asian communities.

On the day, as well as the stalls there was entertainment from a Bollywood Dancer, a panel discussion on keeping a healthy heart, and activities such as meditation, Reiki, sound baths and Henna art. There was also a delicious lunch!
